University of Miami FCA Staff

Dr. LaTosha Ramsey

Area Director - University of Miami


Dr. Ramsey, better known as "Dr. Tosh", has been serving the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for several years. She was born and raised in Miami and currently serves on campus as as Assistant Director of Enrollment Management and Univ of Miami FCA Area Director. She obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Grambling State University and her PHD in Administration in Higher Education from Auburn University.


Zakiyah Rashid

Area Representative

Zakiyah, better known as "Z", is a Univ. of Miami alumni and former athlete. As a track & field student athlete, she won four ACC Championship titles. She became apart of FCA in 2018 where she served first as a student leader and later as an UM FCA intern. After graduating from Univ. of Miami with her bachelor's and master's degree, she began working as an FCA Area Rep on campus.


Mike Blanc

Co-Chaplain - Football

Pastor Mike Blanc was born and raised in South Florida. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and achieved a BCS National Championship win on their  2010 football team as a defensive lineman. He has been serving on Univ. of Miami's campus since 2017 and was the former Campus Director, Football team Chaplain, and Chaplain of the Department of Athletics. He currently serves on campus as the co-chaplain for the football team and globally as the Executive Vice President of FCA's Pro & Elite Sports.


Daryl Jones

Co-Chaplain - Football

Pastor Daryl Jones is a UM alumni and former wide receiver for the Univ. of Miami 2001 BCS National Championship football team. He also received his Doctorate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Biblical Studies. He currently serves as co-chaplain for the football team and the Senior pastor of Rock Fellowship Church in Miami Lakes, FL.


Melanie Blanc

Administrative Assistant

Melanie Blanc has served as the administrative assistant for UM FCA since 2017. In addition to her administrative duties, she helped to start the to campus women's bible study which has more than tripled in size since its launch. She also works as a registered nurse for the Lennar Foundation Medical Center on campus and has recently achieved her Master's degree in Nursing.
